Liquivita Lounge in Ft. Lauderdale Makes Nutrient IV Therapy Available To The Masses

Liquivita Lounge offers nutrient IV therapy solutions in a premium wellness spa setting. Earlier this year, Liquivita launched its new Fort Lauderdale flagship location. Liquivita Lounge offers a proactive way to maintain optimal health and wellness through IV nutrition. Liquivita Lounge’s IV infusions consist of essential nutrients, minerals and amino acids that combat chronic fatigue, stress, and intense mental and physical activity, resulting from a busy or stressful life. These IV infusions help rehydrate the body and provide consistent energy so people can have more control over their health and live at their full capacity.

Broward firefighter and paramedic, Samael Tejada, founded the concept of having nutrient IV therapy available for guests in a lounge setting. The first Liquivita was opened in a wellness spa in Coconut Creek with partners Dr. Leo Reyes and Dr. Howard Newman. Samael credited the success of this location with the fact that people want to live and feel healthier, despite their hectic lifestyle. He partnered with Board Certified physician, Dr. Samuel Hess, to act as Liquivita’s Medical Director so they could offer a spa-like experience that provides the public all of the replenishing benefits of nutrient IV therapy.

“We created the Liquivita Lounge concept to bring nutrient IV therapy to the masses,” says founder, Samael Tejada. “We teamed up with a leading group of medical experts to create to best IV nutrient infusions in a high-end lounge setting.”

Guests are treated to a concierge-like service the second they walk through the door. For example, guests can choose to sit in a comfy reclining lounge chair or in a state-of-the-art, zero gravity massage chair. Guests can also socialize and make friends in the lounge area or have the option to sit in a separate VIP room for a more private session. For those who want to sit in complete silence, Liquivita offers Bose® noise canceling headphones, so customers can escape their hectic lifestyles and relax the mind.

During my visit to Liquivita Lounge I tried The Executive  – this drip helps the mind to feel sharper and clearer and improves your mood so you can be more precise and productive throughout your day. It also combats stress and boosts the immune system. This infusion is based on The Myers Cocktail and includes several B Vitamins, Vitamin C, Magnesium, and Taurine. Research has shown the efficacy of IV Magnesium infusion to manage migraines and asthma. I felt safe with the assortment of micronutrients in the executive blend. Especially since vitamins B & C are water soluble and toxicity is highly unlikely to occur at these levels. Since they are water soluble, one must replenish them more frequently as they do not get stored by the body for long periods of time.

I had never received micronutrient IV therapy prior to this sitting and was interested to see the results. I felt very energized immediately after my infusion and sharp throughout the week after my infusion. However, I wouldn’t say this was a vast improvement for me personally when comparing how I felt before the infusion versus after. Granted, I am unlikely to be deficient in any of the nutrients I received since I supplement regularly and eat a variety of nutritious foods. However, the majority of Americans are deficient in key nutrients such as magnesium. If you are concerned about a magnesium deficiency I would suggest an RBC magnesium blood test. In the body, magnesium is stored primarily within the red blood cells. Be sure to specify this method (RBC) when speaking with your healthcare practitioner.
